Job Description

 

1. Product Requirement & Backlog Management

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed product documentation (logic, user flows, user behaviors, etc.).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, clarify, and prioritize product features.

  • Build and maintain a clear, well-structured product backlog aligned with business goals and user needs.

2. Cross-functional Collaboration & Agile Delivery

  • Partner with UI/UX teams to ensure seamless, intuitive, and user-centered product experiences.

  • Work closely with the Development team to ensure accurate understanding and implementation of product requirements.

  • Collaborate with QC/Testers to define acceptance criteria and ensure the quality of product deliverables.

  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Review, and Retrospective meetings.

3. Problem Solving & Decision Making

  • Support the resolution of product-related issues throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Make data-driven decisions based on real user feedback and market trends.

  • Act as the “voice of the user” to guide product direction and ensure user-centric solutions.

4. Internal Communication & Knowledge Sharing

  • Provide product documentation, training, and usage guidance for relevant stakeholders.

  • Foster strong collaboration between Business, Design, Development, and QA teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.

Job Requirement

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within software development projects.

  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Preferably experienced in FMCG, Retail, or E-commerce environments.

Professional Skills

  • Proficient in writing Product Requirement Documents (PRD), user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Capable of creating mockups, wireframes, and user flows to visualize product ideas.

  • Skilled in using design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, or Axure.

  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with the ability to simplify complex problems.

Personal Attributes

  • Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Customer-oriented, proactive, and accountable for results.
